Joan Porcel (Samantha Hudson, a story of faith, sex and electroqueer) returns to directing with this documentary focused on the Mallorcan singer Júlia Colom and the process of making her first album.
Semper Dijous (Always Thursday) refers to how Julia always seems to live halfway between two worlds: between Mallorca and Barcelona. Between the recovery of the Majorcan tunes and the trap. In the year of her great leap, her ambition meets insecurity, desire meets risk, and aspiration meets doubt.
